Everyone has a point of view, a perspective, from which we interpret and relate to our world or universe around us.
Our eyes, ears, and brains have eyeglasses through which we "see". These glasses pre-filter our thoughts, feelings, and observations - removing possibilities from being sensed and discerned.
These unreal eyeglasses create our "Worldview".
For example, if one wears the "no truth worldview", then the only thing that is true is, that there is no truth. (Please be respectful and not laugh out loud at the obvious contradiction!) When information in the universe tries to enter, the "no truth worldview" pre-filters by altering and renaming the details. Instead of 2+2 equals 4 being true, this "worldview" is satisfied by renaming mathematical truths to be "equations". If a spouse or a police officer requires the truth, this "worldview" is satisfied by renaming the truth to be an "accurate account".
This "no truth" worldview has pre-determined that there is no such thing as "truth" and interprets and responds to the universe as if only that irrational and contradictory worldview is true.
Folks like myself also have a worldview. We believe that everything that God says is true. We believe that there is a loving God who created the universe from nothing by speaking it into existence. We believe that the Bible is God's only Word to humanity and it is, the truth. We believe that there is one eternally existing God who has revealed Himself to humanity in the Bible as God the Father, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit. We believe that God has created and known each person, whether alive or dead, for the purpose of relationship. We believe that each person, alive or dead, has rebelled against God, by nature and by choice, and brought the consequences of rebellion (sin) upon oneself. We believe that it is impossible for church denomination; church attendance; church ceremony; the recital of specific words; or a lifetime of "good" deeds; to solve the problem of personal sin. We believe that any person, while still living, must individually accept Jesus Christ's once for all substitute payment for their personal sin. Jesus Christ's death on the cross and physical resurrection totally assures this Christian of eternity in Heaven with God. We believe that, without Jesus Christ, the personal sin and rebellion towards God condemns the unbeliever to spend eternity without God in Hell. Consequently, it is impossible to seek the one true living God, to find God, and to have ones own personal sin forgiven without coming to God through Jesus Christ, God's one and only Son and Savior.
